Venetian Plastering
Lustrato offers a specialist, professional Venetian Plastering service across the south of England.
Venetian Plastering is the term given to the technique and style of a decorative plaster finish with its heritage from ancient Italian building methods. Venetian plaster is a versatile finish that will elevate a room to new heights. This highly decorative, hard wearing and versatile method of wall finishing is both unique and beautiful offering a luxurious option of decorative finish to your project. At Lustrato we use Stucco and Marmorino plasters.
Stucco Plaster is made from a pure slacked lime allowing an ultra smooth finish that can be polished to a mirror shine!
Marmorino Plaster is also made of slacked lime but contains other materials including marble grit that helps to give the plaster more body and texture.
Venetian plaster is the ultimate bespoke wall-surfacing product, as it can be customised to suit the style of your home. Lustrato can craft all kinds of unique contemporary or classical finishes, from walls and ceilings to columns and studio backdrops. The color and finish options available with these products are truly unlimited and therefore Lustrato will work with its clients to explore the desired finish through providing sample pieces prior to application on site.
